Sister Natalie Lamping, OSF, 67, member of the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994 in the Sisters of St. Francis Infirmary, Oldenburg.

Born July 12, 1927 in Oldenburg, she was the daughter of Edwin and Genevieve (Ferkinhoff) Lamping. She entered the convent Sept. 8, 1946 and made her final vows Aug. 12, 1952.

She was a retired teacher and administrator. She taught in Indiana in: St. Mark, Indianapolis (5/6 grade math), St. Mary Academy, Indianapolis (business ed 9-12), Rex Mundi High School, Evansville (principal), Reitz Memorial High School, Evansville, (assistant principal), Motherhouse, Oldenburg, acting director of retired/pre-retired and administrative assistant to director of minister to retired, Motherhouse, Oldenburg, team member of office of personnel service: Motherhouse, Oldenburg, membr of the general council.

In Ohio, she was at the Our Lady of Angels High School (now Roger Bacon); from 1958 to 1962, she was business ed teacher/department head and from 1962 to 1970, principal and from 1979 to 1981, principal.

Survivors include a brother, William J. Lamping, Oldenburg; a sister, Mrs. James (Jean) Fieler, Hays, Kan., and numerous nieces and nephews.

The mass of Christian burial will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Sisters of St. Francis Motherhouse, Chapel, Oldenburg, with Father Raymar Middendorf officiating.

Burial will be in the Motherhouse Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel.
