James Patrick Clardy, age 45, of Medina went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 29, 2016. He was born April 5, 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio to Paul and Francis (Herchel) Clardy.
He is preceded in death by his mother Francis Herchel Clardy; grandparents Audrey Clardy Tube, Ray Tube, and James P. Clardy.
Jim will always be remembered for his deep love for those around him; especially as a loving husband and father to his P.L.P. (Precious Little Princess) and his Princesses. He is a graduate of Licking Valley High School and Baldwin Wallace University, where he was honored by both schools in their Hall of Fame for his outstanding accolades in Football during high school and college. This passion for athletics shown through with his involvement in the Medina Athletic Boosters, where he was a past-president. Jim was especially known locally for his involvement as a servant leader at Heartland Community Church, where he was a leader in the youth group, men’s groups, and active with the Heartland Riders, where he enjoyed spending time on his Harley Davidson.
A visitation for Jim will be held at Heartland Community Church, 3400 Weymouth Rd (Rt. 3), Medina, OH 44256 on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, 3:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at Heartland Community Church; with burial to follow at Poe Cemetery in Montville Twp.
