Vincent C. "Joe" Wade, age 93, passed away in Vero Beach, Florida on July 4, 2016. He is survived by his devoted companion of 43 years, Joan Frisk and their children; Alexis (Richard)Alia, Leigh (Sally) Wade, Regina (Steve) Scudder, Candy (Jim) Wainright, Connie (Steve) Fieno, Kim (Keith) Miller, Joan (Johnny) Baca, Bill (Colleen) Frisk. He is also survived by many grandchildren; Melissa (Jason), Daniel Justin, Graham (Brittney), Ryan, Justin, Amanda, Monica, Ericka, Christine (Brett), Rebecca (Pierre), Jonathan (Caroline), Benjamin (April), Morgan (Natalie), Kenneth, Stephanie (Alan), Wade (Nicole) and many great grandchildren. Joe is preceded in death by his grandson Gregory (survived by wife Kassy) who was a Police Officer in South Carolina. Joe was a longtime Horeseheads businessman who was the owner of Wade's Jewelry store in Hanover Square. After retirement Joe and Joan traveled the United States while living in New York in the warmer months and Florida in the cooler months. They were dedicated Penn State Football fans for many years, too. At Joe's request there will be no services. He will be cremated in Florida and will be buried in NY at the family's convenience.
