Graveside services for Chester Otto Henderson, 87, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, are 3:00 pm August 2, 2016, at Tahlequah City Cemetery. Officiating will be Chaplain Kevin Webster. Final arrangements have been placed in the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
Chester was born in Dill, Oklahoma on July 15, 1929, to Eber and Francis Ann (Skelton) Henderson. He left this world from his home in Tahlequah on July 28, 2016.
Chester was a 1950 graduate of Preston High School where he played basketball. He was a long time resident and local businessman of Okmulgee County.
Those he leaves behind are his wife, Janice of the home; his four children, Joy Henderson-Brown; Nick Henderson, Stan Henderson, and Christopher Henderson; eleven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many long time friends, all who will all him greatly.
