Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Comer and the Rev. Johnny Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Rose of Sharon Cemetery.
Born November 21, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, Ga., he was the son of the late William “Buddy” Cooper and Eva Cleo Adams Cooper. Mr. Cooper and his sons were the owners of Cooper and Sons Construction for over 40 years where they established many landmarks in the Moultrie area and in the Southern United States. He spent the majority of his 81 years in Colquitt County and attended Lakeside Assembly of God. Mr. Cooper was the last remaining of his four brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM – 8:00PM Friday, July 29, 2016, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
