Sandra Lyn Ellis Alley, 56, of North Logan, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, at McKay-Dee Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 14, 1959, to Janice Hardy and Robert Bennett Ellis. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1977. She moved to Logan to attend Utah State and worked at Smith's. She met and married Gordon Alley on Aug. 19, 1982. It was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
She was the mother of three children: two sons and one daughter, and five beautiful grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Gordon; Dustin (Jesica) Alley of Tremonton, Utah; Garrett Alley of North Logan; Lacy (TJ) Smith of Preston, Idaho; her grandchildren, Stetsen, Ryker, Ally Smith, Mya, Cierra Alley; her mother Janice Ellis, West Valley City; her brother Michael (Nadine) Ellis, Lehi ,Utah; one sister, Rebecca (Trent) Moyer of West Valley City. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Bennett Ellis, and her grandparents Marion Ellis and Harold and Virginia Hardy.
