Erica was educated in the public schools of Florence County and graduated from Wilson High School in 1988. She also attended Columbia College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs and was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. She was also awarded the Order of the Purple Seal. Erica furthered her education, receiving a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Francis Marion University. She was employed with Monarch in Albemarle, NC as a therapist before accepting a position with HealthNet in Okinawa, Japan.
Erica was baptized at an early age at Trinity Baptist Church of Florence, SC.
Erica enjoyed travel, crafts, comedy, and live music. She was a skilled planner and found much pleasure in coordinating gatherings and spending holidays and special occasions with close friends and family. Her wisdom, optimism and work ethic made her a life mentor to many, and she was often sought out for her opinions and advice. Her joy in helping others served as a foundation for her promising career in the field of psychology.
Erica leaves to cherish her loving memories: one daughter, Jamie C. Williams; her parents, James (Josiellia) Williams, Jr. and Deborah F. (Bryant) Moses; one brother, Roderick D. Williams (Cindy) of Norfolk, VA; her grandmother, Elizabeth Cameron of Florence, SC; one niece, Raquel D. Hall (Carlos) of Gaeta, Italy; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
