She was born May 8, 1919, in Stewart County, Ky[TN]. She was a housewife and a member of the Ilsley Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Johnson and Nellie Lee Ford Johnson; her husband, Rev. Cordie Farmer; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by four daughters, Martha Frances Chambers and Ruth Ellen Morse, both of Dawson Springs, Faye Elizabeth Munday of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mary Magdalene Johnson of Madisonville; and five sons, Edgar Lee Farmer of Romeoville, Ill., Herschel Ray Farmer of Kaufungan, Germany, David Henry Farmer and Joeseph Gregory Farmer, both of Joliet, Ill., and Lewis Lee Phillip Farmer of Lockport, Ill.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000 at Beshear Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris McClain officiating. Burial will be in Menser Cemetery.
