Obituary
Roy was born June 7, 1921 in Oconee County, GA to parents Albert Loyd and Victoria (Bowden) Hale and entered into rest on July 29, 2016 at the age of 95. Roy served our country in the United States Army in World War II. He was a caring man who loved living at Cedar Creek Lake, where he enjoyed gardening, working, and being with people. Roy was a member of Payne Springs United Methodist Church and The United Methodist Men at Payne Springs.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Lucille (Moore) Hale, brother Loyd Hale, and son Phillip Hale. He is survived by sons; Ron Hale and Janie of Jacksonville, TX and Terry Hale and Carri of Mabank, daughters; Sandy Hale and Mike Leet of Rockdale and Pam Hale and Dub Traeger of Taylor, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brothers; John Hale and Mary of Watkinsville, GA and Victor Hale and Inez of Gainesville, GA, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many more friends.
