Mrs. Rosa Carr Succumbs at 84
MULLENS (RNS)-- Mrs. Rosa Robertson Carr, 84, of Mullens died at her home at 2:50 a.m. Sunday.
Born March 15, 1879, at Wolf Creek, Va., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie French Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Carr.
Survivors include five sons, Elmer Woodyard of Minneapolis, Minn., Walter Woodyard of Beckley, Robert C. Carr Jr. of Mullens, Herbert H. Carr of Bud (sic) and Walter Carr of Mullens; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel McInturff of Bluefield and Mrs. Maxine Anderson of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Tyler S. of Thessalia, Va., and Earl L. Robertson of Princeton and two sisters, Mrs. Bowman Stafford of Staffordsville, Va., and Mrs. Varina Heatherman of Huntington.
The funeral will be conducted at the First Methodist Church in Mullens at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. R. J. Matheney in charge. Burial will be in the Thessalia Cemetery in Thessalia, Va.
Friends may call at the Sam Foglesong Funeral Home in Mullens this afternoon.
