At the time of the marriage Edgar was a farm hand for Joseph-Eustache Pontbriand, Angeline's father. His parents' farm was next door. Edgar listed the year he immigrated to the US as 1850 and according to the 1910 census they were living on the Vassar Road. (Note- Rosella Jeanotte is the sister of Passant Jeanotte spouse of Felicite Pontbriand and aunt of Oliver Jeanotte spouse of Joseph P. Pombrio and the brother of Clara Bruso second wife of Alexander Faureault who maried marie-Marceline Pontbriand.) Wills p287 #3 Clinton County Court House, children listed. Probated June 14, 1911 Vol. X p256. In 1900 Edgar's brother Nelson went to live with the family. According to the 1910 census Angeline was the mother of 6 children all living.
