The Services Were Attended by Many Old Settlers and Friends.
The funeral of Edward Burling occurred from his residence, No. 299 Belden avenue, yesterday afternoon. The Rev. R.S. Martin conducted the services at the house, and the Rev. M.H. Plumb at the cemetery. The offerings were of an elaborate nature. The Rev. Dr. Robert Sheppard delivered a feeling address. There were present many old settlers who had known Mr. Burling for nearly half a century. The pallbearers were Judge O.H. Horton, J.B. Hobbs, Mr. Goldie, J. Rodatz, Fred Baumann, F.M. Whitehouse, William C. Dow, George K. Dauchy.
