Rebecca Lynn Luttrell, 59, of Vallonia, died at her home on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 9:07 a.m. She had been ill for 8 months. She was a member of Vallonia Christian Church where she had been active in the Christian Companions women's group. She was a clerk at the Vallonia State Tree Nursery. Becky was born in Elwood, IN on November 24, 1955 to the late Kenneth & Rosetta Jackson Green. She married James W. Luttrell on November 18, 1978 in Elwood, IN and he survives in Vallonia. She has lived in Jackson County since October 20, 1984. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Amanda Darlene (Brandon) Peters of Vallonia; 2 grandchildren, Holden James Patrick & Abigail Lynn Tovey both of Vallonia; 2 brothers, Dennis & David Green both of Elwood, IN; 2 sisters, Wanda Ullam of Huntington, IN and Brenda Blanton of Elwood; 1 sister-in-law, Tammy Green of Elwood; 17 nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father, Robert Roe, a sister, Cathy Green, a brother, Michael Green, and a nephew, Danny Ullam. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Vallonia Christian Church or American Cancer Society. Becky loved fishing and quilting.
