Born in Pelzer, she was the daughter of Lucille Reece Davis and the late James A. Davis.
Cathy was an incredible mother, wife, and “Kiki” to her four grandchildren. Vivacious and energetic, she worked for the Greenville Hospital System for many years. She attended Anderson University, majoring in music.
Dwayne and Cathy, married for 44 years after a “blind date”, served as organist and pianist at West Gantt First Baptist Church for 26 years and at Augusta Heights Baptist Church for the past 14 years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are daughter, Buffie Lilly and husband, Jay, of Charleston; son, Reggie Bell and wife, Casey, of Greer; brother, Jimmy Davis and wife, Ginger, of Greenville; and four grandchildren, Davis McKinley and Charles Monroe Bell and Belle Ellene and Jude Thomas Lilly; and precious dog, Scottie.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.
