Everett S. Sayre, 72, of Twinsburg, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born January 21, 1944 in Letart, WVA to the late Hoyt and Mary (Sayre) Sayre. Mr. Sayre has lived in Twinsburg the past 8 years and was formerly of Solon. He retired from Chrysler in Twinsburg after 30 years of service where he worked as a tool and die maker. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, was an eight gallon donor for the Red Cross and a member of the hand gunners club. Mr. Sayre was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. Survivors include his wife Katherine (Moore-Yatsko) Sayre; his children, Jan (Troy) Phillips. Theresa (Michael Cardaman, Retta (Timothy) Diehl, Loni (Beth Mabry) Yatsko, David (Candy) Sayre,; his grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren, Christine, Greg, Kayla, Garret, Malorie, Mikey, Rachael, Travis, Annie, Amber, Alissa, Beatrice, Everett; his great-grandchidlren, Zachary, Eric, Skylar, Scotty, Noah, Christian, Jedadiah, Summer, Josephia, Jakota; his siblings, Marcelene (Robert) Buechner, Imogene (Horton) Snyder and Marylyn Heffelfinger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Gary Sayre, Hoyt Sayre, Dewayne Sayre, David Sayre, Edgar Sayre, Eileen Snyder, Cathlene Riffle and Angelene Adams. Calling hours will be Saturday July 16, 2016 from 2:00 PM until time of funeral services at 4:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. At his request, cremation will follow the services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations please be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Dr., Suite E, Green, Ohio 44685.
