Melvin John Abele, 85, of Cedar Park passed away Mon., Oct. 23, 2006.
Melvin was born May 10, 1921, in Alma, Kansas to Caroline and Frederick J. Abele.
He has been a resident of Cedar Park for 6 years, prior to moving to Cedar Park he lived in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
He was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church.
Melvin is survived by his wife Frances B. Abele of Cedar Park; sons, Steve Abele of Carrollton, Texas, Stan Abele of Spring, Texas, Scott Abele of East Tawakoni, Texas, and Spencer Abele of Hutto, Texas; daughter, Stacey Renka of Leander; sister, Clara Fredenberger of Hemet, California
Memorial services will be held at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at 2:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made in Melvin’s Name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice
