Services for Arthur Vander Werff were held Saturday, January 22, 2000, at the Third Reformed Church in Pella. Rev. Donald Orange officiated the services. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Arthur passed away January 20, 2000, at Westridge Nursing Home in Knoxville where he had been for eight days.

Arthur Vander Werff, son of Arie Vander Werff and Nellie Jane Breen, was born near Reasnor, on June 5, 1923. On October 19, 1948, he married Marjorie Sytsma in Pella.

They made their home south of Galesburg where they presently reside. Arthur first worked as a hired man for neighbors until he started his own farming operation which he continued until 1996. Arthur was a member of the Third Reformed Church in Pella.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Lola Jean; brother, John; sister Kathryn Van Engelenburg, and brother, Bert.

Memorials to Hospice has been suggested.
