James S. MARTIN (1879-1964)
Martin, James S. (Ruby)— Aged 85, Mt. Braddock, died Thursday, October 8, 1964 at 1 p.m. in the Connellsville Hospital. Born at Breakneck July 16, 1879, he was the son of the late John and Mary Brown Martin. He was a retired employe of Eureka Fire Brick Works, and a member of UBCW, Local 530. Surviving are three sons, Rev. Walter I. Brookville, R.D. 1; Herbert, Leisenring; Harold, Shady Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Alice) Overly, Mt. Braddock; Mrs. Colburn (Marjorie) Martin, Dunbar; twenty nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife Hester in 1950 and one son, Charles in 1953. Friends will be received in the Burhans Funeral Home, Dunbar, after 7 this evening. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m.m with Rev. W. D. Rodahaver officiating. Internment will be in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
