David Glen Sheppard went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2016 at 12:20 A.M. following an industrial accident on July 2, 2016.
David was born January 11, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas. His parents were John Oliver and Vinnie Lue (Andrews) Sheppard.
He had a smile that was contagious and when he laughed everyone else did too. David was easy going and liked to joke around but when it was time to get serious he was serious. He was extremely talented and knowledgeable in many ways. David loved his guns and reloading ammunition was a lifelong hobby. He also loved his computers. He would help anyone that needed help. David was a devoted husband and family man and loved his family immensely. He was a very hard worker with a strong work ethic. David Worked for the City of Wichita Falls for 18 years.
David is survived by his wife Brenda (Red) Sheppard, daughters, Shawnta Sheppard from Henrietta, TX and Amanda Smith and husband Christopher of Mansfield, TX;Step-children, Dena Smith and husband Marcus of Panama City, FL and Brian Graham of Duncan, OK; 9 grandchildren Kaleb, Cody, Taylor, April, Hayden, Weston, Jacob, Chase and Micah; father, John Sheppard of Henrietta, TX; brother, Daniel Sheppard of Grapvine, TX; niece, Cassie Padilla and husband Racey and their children Bracee and Zaylee; nephew, Jason Sheppard and his children Addie and Harper Sheppard; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Vinnie Lue Sheppard.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 2 P.M. at the Henrietta Church of Christ.
