Loved by many for her generosity, her optimism, her modesty and wisdom, her energy, her helpfulness. Throughout her life she was curious and interested in the world around her. She was a natural leader, going back to her days in high school athletics. In the mid-80s she was president of the League of Women Voters in White Bear and volunteered for their projects for many years after. She wrote on a variety of topics and kept studying and learning even as her illness weakened her. She never stopped making new friends and was always willing to offer a helping hand.
Survived by son Frank (Susan) and daughters Gerry (Kendall) and Lynn (Craig) and grandchildren Ben Biddle and Katherine Glover.
She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin and daughter Connie.
