Research done in 1950's claimed Mary was born in Duisburg, Germany, but immigration records state she was born in Parsberg, Austria. Both stated the last she (and her sister & father) lived in Germany it was in Mors. Her mother apparently did not accompany them at that time. The 3 were headed to Frontenac KS to visit Mary's aunt (Anna Bergovsek).

Immigrated to the U.S. in 1914 with her father & sister, Mary's age then (erroneously) listed as 11 yrs old.

She is sister to FAG# 162267600.

Married to Joseph Medved- 1922-1925.

Reputedly married to a Joseph Hogan between 1925 and 1935 (unverified).

Married to Louis Peck- 1935-1939.

Daughter Christine was with Joseph Medved.

Murder victim of Edward Gein, FAG# 5089170.

Remains recovered were buried in unmarked plot in 1963.

Mary Hogan's father was Ignatz Cuvan (1871-1916) and her mother was Antonia 'Anna' Hofbauer (DOB unknown, died between 1945 & 1953). Ignatz was killed by a train, and a 1917 newspaper article reported his executor was sueing the Kansas City Southern railroad, and that Ignatz was married and had 5 children (may be another individual of the same name).
