Family Info indicates he is Full Blood Shawnee and married to Elizabeth McClelland and buried here.

Elizabeth Holmes Taylor abt 1839
Hugh Montgomery Holmes 1840-1908
Cornelious Holmes ~1843-1902
Christian Holmes ~1846
Margeret Holmes ~1854
George Holmes ~1859
Ephemia Holmes ~1863

I do also have info for Christian's parents as his father born in Denmark and a note with a reference to Von Helm so potentially he was adopted or his mother (unknown born in Canada) may be the one that the Shawnee line may actually fall.
