Kenneth Albert Henson, 73, entered into eternal life Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home in Pottsboro.
Mr. Henson was born April 17, 1943 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma the son of Richard and Ruby (Bennight) Henson. He met and married Carolyn Lynn Parnell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kenneth served his country proudly in the U. S. Marine Corp. He was an electrician for 40 years with I.B.E.W. in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors, and was an active participant of Grayson County Bowmen. He loved the Lord and was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church. Kenneth also loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He truly enjoyed his time with them. Although his passing leaves a void in our lives he will live on in our hearts.
Mr. Henson leaves behind his beloved family, wife, Carolyn Henson of Pottsboro, TX; sons, Roger Henson of Sadler, TX and Dr. Robin Henson of Pilot Point, TX; grandsons, Hunter Henson of Sadler, TX and Micah Henson of Pilot Point, TX and granddaughter, Leah Henson of Pilot Point, TX; mother, Ruby Henson of Mt. Park, OK; sisters, Ruby Combs of Mt. Park, OK, Glenda Caldwell of Faxon, OK, Donna Luttrell of Ninekah, OK and Anita Jimison of Mt. Park, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard and brother, Dick Henson.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Trinity Lighthouse Church with Pastor Raymond England and Dr. Robin Henson officiating.
