A. D. Trout, 83, a retired farmer of the Ravenna area, died in a Sherman hospital at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1967. He had lived at Ravenna 45 years.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Ravenna Baptist church where Mr. Trout was a member. Cooper Funeral Home will direct interment in the IOOF cemetery.
Mr. Trout, the son of the late Jim and Elizabeth Pullen Trout, was born Dec. 16, 1883 in Okolona, Ark. His wife preceded him in death in 1956.
Survivors are two sons Carl Trout of Ravenna and W. M. Trout of Arlington; five daughters, Mrs. Raymond Perry of Ravenna, Mrs. Hollis Jenkins of Bonhan, and Mrs. Lucille Sinclair, Mrs. Myrtle Lane and Mrs. Johnny Merrell all of Sherman.
Other survivors are two brothers Bud Trout of Bonham and Dewey Trout of California; four sisters, Mrs. Birchie Norman of Marshall, Mrs. Della Hurt and Mrs. Minnie Minton, both of California; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
