A son of the late Cecil Everett and Virginia Ruby (Messer) McKnight, Kenny was a brick maker by trade for many years at the Harbison Walker Brickyard. He was a member of Bloom Free Will Baptist Church and loved attending services there.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; one son, Brian McKnight of South Webster; one daughter, Lisa (Brad) Leslie of Piketon; four grandchildren, Angie Shrek, Ruby Boldman, Christopher McKnight, Kelsey McKnight; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles (Nadine) McKnight of Wheelersburg; four sisters, Hilda Mae (Richard) Hall of Dayton, Linda (Jimmy) Hughes of Wheelersburg, Sherlon (Barry) Sturgill of Bainbridge, Debbie (Rick) Shump of Portsmouth; brother-in-law, Curtis Besco of Wheelersburg. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Besco and two half sisters, Dorothy and Delores.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 1, 2016 at Bloom Free Will Baptist Church with Pastors Ken Kleiber and Allen Harner officiating. Interment will follow in South Webster Cemetery.
