Beckworth of Memphis will
be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Beulah
Grove MB Church in Itta Bena.
Mr. Beckworth, 47, died of
heart failure Sunday, July 17,
2016, at his home.
He was a maintenance
man at Shelby Pines Apartments
in Memphis. In his
spare time, he worked in auto
mechanics and enjoyed
spending time with his family.
He is survived by his father,
McKinley Beckworth Sr. of
Greenwood; a daughter, Victoria
Brown of Greenwood;
six sons, Aarion Walker and
Arterious Walker, both of
Memphis, Arthur Brown of
Greenwood and Jermaine
Strong, Cedric Cross and
Rakheem Brooks, all of Itta
Bena; a brother, McKinley
Beckworth Jr. of Greenwood;
three sisters, Sharon Swinney
of Itta Bena, Charlotte
Jennings of Detroit and
Tammy Philips of Indianola;
and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5
p.m. Friday at Byas Mortuary.
The Rev. Anthony Jones
will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Pitts
Memorial Cemetery.
