Our beloved husband and father, Amos Watson Bryant, of Salem, passed away at the age of 71 on Monday, November 20, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Allen and Lillian Curtis Paige Bryant; and seven brothers and sisters. Amos is survived by his wife, Alice; brothers, Richard, Walter, and Clarence; sisters, JoAnn, Mary, and Lilly; sons, Michael, Victor, and Tony; daughters, Kimberly Hebron and Kristie Jordan; sons-in-law, Vaughn Hebron and Bradley Jordan; grandchildren, Candace, Alexis, Hayley, Sáloni, Corey, Savion, Savaughn, Sanaa, and Alayna; and a greatgranddaughter, Briana. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. The Rev. Frank Feather will officiate. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Salem. The Bryant family is being served by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, 389-5441.
