Although a beautiful love story came to it's earthly end when Kimberly Ann Barber passed away Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 and then only two days later Monday, July 25th, her husband Kent Allen Barber joined her, we know that their eternal relationship will continue to grow.

Kimberly Ann Barber "Kim" born on January 12th, 1959 of Wasilla, Alaska, has departed, but her larger-than-life persona and trademark tenacity will not be forgotten. An amazing woman who was in love with love, Kim was fiercely loyal to those who were lucky enough to be endeared to her. She made so many people feel important and special, she was a brilliant and talented woman who shared her many talents freely. She was the champion to ALL under-dogs, loved Tapioca pudding, guns, wearing Ugg boots, reality TV shows, serving others, and standing for what she believed in. Kim loved her Heavenly Father and savior Jesus Christ and believed in doing what was right. She cherished her family, especially her husband Kent Barber, Sons, J.J. Ells and Josh Davis, her Daughter-in-laws Kelli Davis and Jessica Ells, Grandchildren Dillon Ronin and Joshua Ells, Reagan, Jaxon, and Kennedy Davis, Her parents Yvon and Al Perry, and Robert and Patty Davis, Siblings Frank Davis, and Tina Toy, Sister-in-laws Sharon Davis, Patti Barber-Manley, Brother-in-laws Tom Toy, and Mike Phillips, her Nieces Shauna, Dachelle, Robbie, Schoen, Nicole, Justin, and Austin, cousins and there spouses whom were like siblings, Bob and Marilynn Henderson, Mike and Becky Henderson, Steve and Susan Henderson, and Jeanette and Don Hikock, and all of their children. Kim was world-renowned for her love of politics, feistiness, not holding back her opinion, and a knack for telling it like it is. She was highly proficient at debating. She was a connoisseur of chocolate cream pie and a firm believer that desert should be eaten before dinner.

Kent Allen Barber born on February 4th, 1960 had a life-long love affair with guns, off roading, baked goods, candy, and Mt. Dew. He took fashion cues from no one. His signature every day look was all his: a plain pocketed T-shirt designed by the fashion house Fruit of the Loom, a pair of Carhartts, any old baseball cap, mismatched socks and some steel toed boots. Kent was a kind, gentle man who submersed himself in service. He was a hard working, smart, opinionated, patriotic man who was easy to please because of his gentle selfless nature. He was a faithful, Christ-like man who loved and served the lord. Above all else, he was a family man who adored his wife Kim, Parents Elmer and Helen Barber, and Carol and Frank Eberra, and sisters Patti Barber-Manley and Connie Barber , Sons, J.J. and Josh, his Grandchildren, and all family listed above.

Kent and Kim's family will hold a private burial with full military honors at Fort Richardson. A service will be held for all to celebrate his and Kim's lives at, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 2501 Maplewood St, in Anchorage on Friday, July 29th, 2016 from 1-2 p.m.

Finally, the family asks that in honor of Kent and Kim that you write your Congressman and ask for the repeal of Day Light Saving Time. Kent and Kim wanted everyone to get back on the Lord's Time.
