Roy Avery Henry of Oxford, Indiana, passed away at 6:13 a.m. Jul 26, 2016 in Williamsport, Indiana.

Born September 18, 1955 in Lafayette, he was the son of Avery and Rose Henry. Roy was a graduate of Benton Central High School. He was formerly married to Lois Henry for 32 years.

Roy was a business man who experienced many successes. He attended the Oxford Church of Christ for many years and later established his own ministry - King David Ministries. Roy was passionate about racing and known to many as the announcer at Daugherty Speedway, formerly the Henry Speedway. Roy loved music and was a talented musician. He played multiple instruments, created original tunes for many friends, and recorded several tracks. His kindness and many talents will be fondly treasured by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are one daughter, Jessie (Justin) Rossetter; three sons, Jason Henry, Joey Henry and Johnny (Nicki) Henry; six grandchildren and one brother, Alan Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Henry.
