Mr. Stephen L. "Buddy" Massey, Jr., 37, of Sylvester, died Wednesday July 27, 2016 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Grady Morey will officiate.
Mr. Massey was born in Sylvester on January 7, 1979 to Stephen "Steve" L. Massey, Sr. and Cindy Coker Sexton. He had lived in Worth County most of his life. Mr. Massey was a United States Army Veteran and was employed by Massey Fire Restoration of Tifton. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan who enjoyed fishing, reading and most importantly, being with his children. Mr. Massey was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Massey was preceded in death by his father, Stephen "Steve" L. Massey, Sr. on June 27, 2015.
