Lillian Elizabeth Bashore, 85, of the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in the home. She was born April 23, 1921 in Londonderry Twp., Dauphin Co., a daughter of the late Charles Ervin and Kathryn Pearl Kohr Meinsler. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church at Middletown. She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are husband, Paul R. Bashore of Lancaster; son, Donald E., spouse of Shirley Bashore, of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Karen Grubb and Paul Bashore, III, both of Bellefonte, and Michael Bashore of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Grubb and Christopher Grubb both of Bellefonte, and Danielle Bashore of Altoona; and great-grandchild, Zoe Elizabeth Bashore of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by sons, Dennis Lee Bashore on June 16, 1981 and Paul R. Bashore, Jr. on Feb. 15, 1999; sisters, Emma Mae Meinsler and Elva Beatrice Meinsler; and brothers, Elwood Lloyd Meinsler, Charles Leslie Meinsler and brother, Ray Leon Meinsler. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Mennonite Manor at 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. Private interment in Iona United Methodist Cemetery, Lebanon. Memorials can be sent to Mennonite Home, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
