He later moved to Dimmitt and was the Food Service Director for the Dimmitt Independent School District, he has been employed with them for 23 years. Mr. K had a golden heart, he was not a judge mental man and he was a man of tremendous faith. Mr. K’s hobbies were playing the organ and piano, painting; pen, ink and acrylic, but more than anything he loved his Golden Lab dogs, Leo and Dino.
He is survived by his best friend and rock for life, Anna Ketchum of Lubbock, one brother, John Ketchum of Albuquerque, N.M. and three sisters, Ruth Sullivan of Illinois, Dixie Jennings of Clovis, CA., and Linda Sneed of Houston; two of his favorite Golden Lab pets, Leo and Dino and numerous nephews and nieces.
