Lillian Lockhart Watson, age 81, of Wildwood Drive, Deep Gap, died July 24, 2016, at Watauga Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1935 in Chippewa, Michigan. She was a former machine operator at TRW/IRC, and a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Roser Blake Watson, of the home; one son, Cecil Watson of Deep Gap; three daughters, Janet Trivette and Linda Watson of Deep Gap, and Mary Hodges of Wilkesboro; six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clarence A. Lockhart and Annie LaGace Lockhart, a daughter, Barbara Ann Watson, a sister, Jean Piche, and a grandson, Blake Connely "B.C." Watson.
Funeral services held at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Eric Proffit. Burial in the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
