Prince Christoph of Hesse-Kassel was the sixth and youngest child of the Landgrave and Landgravine of Hesse-Kassel. He married Princess Sophie of Greece and Denmark on December 15, 1930. He died while fighting in WWII on October 7, 1943 in Forli, Italy at the age of forty-two.
