Chuck as he was known by family and friends will always be remembered as a man who lent a hand to help others. Whether it was a family member, neighbor or friend, Chuck was there offering support in one way or another. He loved animals, fishing and growing lilies, a past-time he enjoyed doing with his wife Patti. In addition, Chuck worked as a production worker with Diamond Electric.
He was preceded in death by his father George McClure Keeney.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife Patricia “Patti” Dawn Keeney; daughters, Erin, Niccole and Makinzie; grandchildren, Ian, Holden and Bailey; mother, Frankie Keeney of Hurricane; in-laws, Woody and Bev Wheeler of Hurricane; sister, Lynn Bright of Hurricane; brothers, Kent Keeney, Daniel Keeney both of Hurricane and Chris Keeney of Huntington, several nieces and nephews and his neighbor that he loved, admired and thought of as a grandfather, Bob Ellis.
A memorial service will be held from 5-7pm Saturday July 30, 2016 at Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene, Teays Valley Road, Hurricane.
