Mark died in a Chicago hospital after a short illness. He was born and reared on a farm near Randolph. He lived in Bloomington several years as a young man but since about 1905 lived in Chicago. He was a contractor and builder in Peoria. He married Ida Sept. 14, 1892 in Chicago, and lived in Peoria after the wedding. "He was a worthy and industrious young gentleman and deserves all the happiness and prosperity that can possibly come to him."
