Eula Laverne "Kate" Miller, 77, formerly of Etowah, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, in The Bridge at Rockwood in Rockwood, Tenn.
She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.
A daughter of the late Browder Clifton and Reba Sylena Withrow Price, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph "Bud" Miller; two sons, George C. Miller, and Mark Allen "Marty" Miller; daughter, Teresa Miller Coleman; and two grandchildren, C.G. Coleman and Cassidy Witt.
She was retired after 30 years service from McKeehan Chair Company, serving as a supervisor. She was a member of Pond Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet Radford of Decatur; two sons, Roger Miller of Decatur, and Harold Miller of Decatur; 10 grandchildren, Tisha Miller, Jennifer Miller, Eddie Coleman, Chris Coleman, April Miller, Sylena Shope, Misti and husband, Yosiho Polo, Amanda and husband, Jason Witt, Allen Miller, and Mark Miller; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special niece, Debbie Shelton; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Shelton officiating.
Interment will be 11 a.m. Friday in Pond Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Witt, Mark Miller, Dale Radford, Kagan Witt, Allen Miller and Chris Coleman.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
