Nelson, Melanie 50, of Phoenix passed away on June 12, 2016. Melanie Weiswasser Marwil Nelson, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona, died from a massive heart attack on Sunday, June 12 at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center surrounded by family. Melanie, born in Detroit and reared in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, lived her life pursuing her many passions in the land she loved, Arizona. From her career in auto service, most recently with O'Reilly, to her hobby of learning classic car restoration at Memory Lanes Customs, Melanie was constantly learning about her first passion - cars. Melanie was an avid motorcycle rider and award-winning marksman and sport-clay shooter. She was devoted to spay/neutering feral cats. Beloved wife of Conan Nelson; devoted daughter of Janice Bellefleur (John Bellefleur) and Ted Weiswasser (Julie Leonhard); cherished sister of Timothy Weiswasser, Jennifer Stratman (Tim Stratman), and Julian Weiswasser; loving aunt to Brandon and Nichole Weiswasser, and Iris, Leland and Lila Stratman. Melanie is pre-deceased by her sister, Jillian Weiswasser. A memorial service was held for friends and family on June 13. Melanie's ashes will be buried next to her beloved grandmother, Laura Jennings Hoffman, at Michigan Memorial Cemetery.
