She was born in Wood County the daughter of the late Clarence H. and Nancy Stukey Melrose.
Delores was a longtime resident of Belleville and had retired from Ralph's Market in 1985 after 25 years of service. She was Methodist by faith.
She is survived by her sisters, Eleanor Minear of Vienna, WV and Juanita Kirby of Brandon, FL. as well as her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Charles Lee, her brothers, James "Pete" Melrose, John Edwin Melrose and Clarence Melrose Jr. Her sister, Eva Post and a nephew, David Minear.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Jerry Murphy officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery at Williamstown. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
