Susan Page Cannon died at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in the early morning of Monday August 10, 2015. She died peacefully from hypoxic respiratory failure cause by Scleroderma.

Susan's earthly love was taken from her long time companion Ronald Thomson; her daughter Stacey Cannon and her husband Ralph Henry; Susan's grandchildren Rhiannon, Asa and Isaac Henry; her sister Evelyn and her husband Jack Cornwell; her brother Richard and his wife Eileen Elliott; her brother Steven and his wife Lori Elliott; nieces Wendy Cornwell Babcock, Savannah and Marjorie Elliott; nephew Christopher Elliott; grandniece Alexa and grandnephew Brian Babcock; her 96 year old mother Martha Elliott and many friends.

Susan was born in 1946 to Asa Leete Elliott and Martha (Taylor) Elliott in New Jersey, moving to Maryland the next year.

She graduated from Glen Burnie High School and attended Anne Arundel Community College receiving an AA degree in Elementary Education. She added management courses for dental practices and enjoyed a satisfying career in the Dental Field. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook and loved through her cooking. Making meals for family gatherings was a particular joy. She also enjoyed reading and decorating. She and her companion renovated a house and made it a home.

A memorial service will be held at Harundale Presbyterian Church, 1200 Eastway, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 on Saturday September 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan Cannon's memory to Harundale Presbyterian Church children's programs or to Johns Hopkins Scleroderma Center.
