Mrs. Ola Lee Johnson Barnes, age 89, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Atmore, Ala. to the late Rafe and Roseanna Mosley Johnson. She was a 1948 graduate of Escambia County Training School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald E. Barnes and her sisters.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie Barnes; two great-grandson, Christopher Walker and Davontae Walker; great-granddaughters, Keshonda Walker; close family members, George (Gwen) Snowden, Elmo (Ruth) Johnson, Kawanaha (Donald) Crosby, Alyce Walker, Linda Johnson, Augustine Johnson, Emma (Clifford) Tomas; close friends, James Robinson and Mildred Jackson; caretaker, Dannette Dailey and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Rev. Willlie Hawthorne officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were her great-grandson and nephews.

Flower bears were family and friends.
