Kathleen (Kay) Rose Hale, 84, of Midland was translated from her temporal life to her eternal life, she received her glorified body-completely whole, and met her dear Savior face-to-face on November 8, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 9, 1931 in Midland, daughter of the late Wesley Edward and Dorotha Pearl (Marshall) Stout. She married Jack Arthur Hale August 28, 1948, and they had six children, Daniel Allen Hale of Harrison, Susan Kay who died in infancy, Jane Louise DeBord of McKinney, Texas, Jack Arthur Hale Jr, who died in 2004, Nancy Marie (Marshall) Albarelli of Summerfield, Florida, and Judy Elaine, who died in 2012. Kathleen and Jack also have 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She leaves many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and special friends.Kay had 6 siblings, Wilma, Helen, Ann, Patricia, Barbara, Richard and John. Wilma, Patricia, Richard and John predeceased her. Kays beautiful legacy will be making memories with her family and friends. She taught us all to make every occasion fun and memorable, from her special recipes to her lovingly embroidered quilts for every new baby in the family, her loving touch will be missed by everyone. Her sense of humor has guided us through every family trial even to the end of her own life.Funeral services will be held at the Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 with visitation from 10:30-12 p.m. and funeral service at noon. Pastor Gene LeForge of Midland Free Methodist Church will officiate.
