Esther R. Murray, of Neenah, age 85, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born October 14, 1930 in Niagara, WI, daughter of late Azarie and Lena (Kuschel) Brazeau. Esther married Robert Murray on August 11, 1951. Esther was a stay at home Mom where she cared for 16 infant foster children from birth until they were adopted, plus caring for her own five children. She enjoyed polka dancing and listening to Barbershop music. Esther was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert (Bob); four children: Bobbie (Bruce) Rhoades, Bill (Mary) Murray, Pat (Jane) Murray, Lee Murray; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Murray; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Esther was preceded in death by son, Greg Murray; and sisters, Elvera and Eileen. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. The family would like to thank the staff of Parkside One - South, at Park View Health Center; and the girls from Sapphire Villa at the Valley VNA for their compassionate care.
