Lena Priddy Brann, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Mrs. Brann was born in Stokes County on August 23, 1922 to the late Noah David and Lula Oakley Priddy. She was a long time member of Fairview Moravian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Brann, three sisters, Mrs. Jean Hedrick, Mrs. Ennis Smith and Mrs. Pat Neill; and four brothers, Claude, Paul, Clyde and Elwood Priddy. Surviving are three daughters, Deborah Battle and husband, Paul, of Bermuda Run; Beth Keiger of Winston-Salem, and Cynthia Hanson and husband Randy of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Charles and Lauren Battle, Maribeth Duggins, Mollie Weakland, and Alex Hanson; one step-grandson, Brad Battle; two great grandchildren, Collier Schultz and Graham Duggins; and two step great grandchildren, Amelia and Paloma Battle. Funeral services will be conducted at Fairview Moravian Church on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Scott Venable. The family will receive friends in the Church Parlor one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at The Salem Moravian Graveyard "God's Acre".
