Juanita Lyons, age 90, of 36 Thomas Drive, DuBois, Pa., died Saturday, July 23, 2016, at her home.

Born March 23, 1926, in Ardmore, Okla., she was a daughter of the late William Ivy Norman and the late Annie Pearl Dorough.

On May 10, 1946, she was married to John C. Lyons. He preceded her in death.

Juanita was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Reynoldsville, and Amaranth of DuBois.

She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Lyons Farrell of DuBois and Lydia Lyons Westover of Sykesville; one son, Randall Lyons of Reynoldsville; one sister, Wanda Thornburgh of Broken Arrow, Okla.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

There will be no public viewing. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, officiated by Pastor Thomas Carr. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Pa.
