Survivors include one son, Tanner McElhaney of Huntsville; one daughter, Alysa McElhaney of Huntsville; one stepson, Kenny McElhaney of Huntsville; her parents, Ross and Debra Ann (Holland) Hefner of Huntsville; three brothers, Jason Edwards and Cody Hefner, both of Huntsville, and Jimmy Joe Hefner of Lemoore, California; and three sisters, Kayla Hefner, Amber Hefner, and Debbra Drumwright, all of Huntsville.
Funeral services were Friday, July 29, 2016 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Reverend Alex Foster officiating.
