She was the last of seven children born to the late Carl and Velma Barger in Chelsea Oklahoma on November 29, 1944. Linda was Cherokee and a Vietnam era USAF veteran.
She started Microsoft school on her 50th birthday and landed a job with VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering where she worked nearly 18 years until health issues forced her to an early retirement.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters and their spouses, one sister, one brother, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
At her request, her body was donated to the USA Medical Center for research. Burial will follow later at Dawes Cemetery in Chelsea Oklahoma.
