David Keith Tolley, age 43, succumbed to pneumonia on July 24, 2013 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born to Annetta L. Tolley and the late Fornie D. Tolley in Canton on October 27, 1969. He was a 1992 graduate of Southgate School. David resided at the group home of Alliance and attended CJ Workshop and most recently the Creative Learning Workshop. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Canton. David was a strong-willed individual who brought smiles and happiness to his family, co-residents, caretakers and educators. He could be insistent about which car he would ride, had a penchant for red tee shirts, and liked visits to the pet store. He savored banana milk shakes and tacos but not necessarily at the same time. He is survived by his mother, his sisters, Brenda (Donald) Jackson of Canton, Carol Kangas of Venice, FL, and Lois Tolley of N. Canton; his nephew Micah Miller of Gilbert, AZ; his nieces, Jennifer Kangas of Tampa, Fl, Kerry (Michael) Frost of McKinney, TX, Michelle (David) Anderson of Tullahoma, TN, Allison Kangas (Diego) deBellatla of Medford, MA, Brooke Mendenhall of Baberton, and Fawn Miller of Phoenix, AZ; great nephews and nieces; Ehtan, Elise, Rei, Kainyn, Tristan, Isadora and Emma Claire. Funeral service will be on Saturday 12 Noon in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Mr. Donald Shook presenting the talk. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon on Saturday. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
