Funeral services for Bernice Biehle, 85, of Loebau, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor, Texas with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. The family will be present for visitation Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Bernice Ruth (Fritsche) Biehle was born on June 9, 1931 in Loebau, Texas, the daughter of Albert Andreas Fritsche and Anna Marie (Iselt) Fritsche. She was baptized on June 21, 1931 and confirmed on September 23, 1945 at Christ Lutheran Church in Loebau.
Bernice was united in marriage to Carl Herman Biehle on April 19, 1953 at Christ Lutheran Church in Loebau. They were blessed with one daughter, Diane. Carl preceded her in death on July 17, 2012 after 59 years of marriage. Bernice was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor and enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers and sewing. She passed away the morning of Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Bastrop Lost Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Anna Fritsche; her husband, Carl Biehle; two brothers-in-law, Vestine Zoch and Paul Biehle Sr. and two sisters-in-law, Edna Haley and her husband, Frank and Elizabeth Biehle.
She is survived by her daughter, one brother and sister*in-law, one sister, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
