Sara Nell Cunningham, 81, of Pembroke-Fairview Road, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Revs. Greg Giltner and Joe Bufford officiating.

Private burial will be at a later date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West.

A native of Christian County, she was born Oct. 10, 1934, the daughter of the late H.G. and Verna Wood Adcock.

She was a homemaker, realtor with Century 21 Town and Country and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Clark Gray and Hattie Jane Rawlins.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Gary Cunningham, Pembroke; her sons, Hal Cunningham, Pembroke, Mark (Nancy) Cunningham, Fairview; her daughters, Amy (Billy Ray) Suiter, Trenton, Lita (Jodie) Hannes, Hopkinsville; her sisters, Nancy Shaw, Hopkinsville, and Betsy Tharpe, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
